The National Center for Soybean Biotechnology
at the University of Missouri will be holding their 4th Annual
Soybean Biotechnology
Symposium on April 9, 2008 to be held at the Christopher S. Bond Life Sciences
Center on the University of Missouri campus. Guest speakers will be Dr.
Gale Buchanan, Under Secretary for Research, Education, & Economics
from United States Department of Agriculture; Dr. James Specht,
Professor of Agronomy & Horticulture from University of Nebraska; and
Dr. Kyuya Harada, Head of the Soybean Genome Research Team from National
Institute of AgroBiological Sciences Japan..
The symposium will be focused on soybean biotechnology related to bio-fuel
and national energy policy.

Soybean Association 18th Annual Golf Classic
The
Missouri Soybean Association will once again be hosting its Annual
Golf Classic in
Richmond, Mo. on July 9, 2008. Please join us by becoming a sponsor
or player. The tournament provides an opportunity for you to socialize
with producers and friends in the soybean industry from all across
Missouri. Proceeds from this event help support our efforts in Jefferson
City and Washington, D.C., through MSA membership.
