Northern Program The Northern Missouri Soybean Breeding Program is led by the experienced and tenured soybean breeder, Dr. David Sleper. During his career at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Dr. Sleper has a substantial amount of crop breeding experience and his efforts highlight the synergies that can occur across the range of production regions in Missouri, most noted by his cooperation with Dr. Shannon. The Northern Program is supported on an annual basis through significant contributions of Missouri Soybean Programs and the University of Missouri-Columbia.
