Businesses

Missouri Soybean Programs facilitate the development of value-added, new generation businesses from inspired ideas through innovative implementations. Missouri soybean farmers first visualize new business ideas and present them to the Missouri Soybean staff for raw feasibility determination. Next, Missouri Soybean staff members assist in the coordination of feasibility and marketing studies, and if warranted, business plan development. In conjunction with business plan development, the Missouri Soybean staff serves as a resource provider and facilitator of organizational development through identifying legal expertise, group formation, and offering (a.k.a. prospectus) development. Finally, with a sound business and offering document in place, the Missouri Soybean staff coordinates membership drives for the proposed value-added, new generation business. The business’ directors comprised of Missouri soybean farmers, lead the membership drive charge, utilizing the on-line Missouri soybean-founded Electronically-Managed, Producer-Invested, Rural Enterprise Builder™ or EMPIRE Builder™. Following the membership drive, the Missouri Soybean staff serves as a resource provider and assists in facilitating the marketing of farmer-owners’ new generation tax credits, normally received by Missouri farmers for investment in a qualified value added business. Existing farmer-owned new generation businesses recently developed are highlighted in the menu bar. Please feel free to click on the name of the new generation business and you will be directed to their Web sites.
